Weekly Update Monday 1st September

I hope you are all having a great long weekend.

Congratulations to Team 2 who won this years Die Hard Summer League.  The Team consisted of Dave Guthrie, Tom Porter, Marcus Moceri, Chris Hewer and Marco Carnavale.  The final went down to the final match of the evening with the scores tied 166 V 166. Tom Porter managed to maintain his composure and  overcome Jeff Derochie to bring the title home.

X Border Challenge:

I am still looking for people to play in the Cross Border Challenge against the DAC on Saturday 13th September at WSF.  Players of all standards are welcome to sign up.  We won the most recent instalment and I am sure our friends from across the river will be looking for revenge.

Calcutta Handicap Tournament:

New to the calendar this year.  I am organizing a Calcutta tournament which will see all entrants battle it out to win the cash prize.  It costs $25 to enter and half of this is put into the prize purse.  All entries receive a points handicap so anyone has a chance of winning.  All Handicaps will be decided before play starts.  Places are limited to the first 16 entrants.
